The results were based on a survey of four aspects: comfort, conveniences, cleanliness and customer service. A total of 26,297 qualifying responses were received.
Singapore's Changi International Airport is the best airport in the world for its luxurious layover indulgences, including a fish spa, a sauna, a butterfly garden, a koi pond and showers.
South Korea's Incheon International Airport and Japan's Haneda International Airport ranked second and third. The top 10 list was dominated by Asian airports.
