The Sunday Times has published its latest Rich List, revealing the 1,000 wealthiest people in the United Kingdom. The list includes both people who are British by birth and those who were born overseas but work and live in the country.

There are now 117 billionaires based in the U.K., up 12 percent from last year. The combined wealth of the top 1,000 richest Britons has reached ￡547 billion (US$835.72 billion).

The Sunday Times Rich List has updated annually in April since 1989, and this year's list is the 27th edition of the ranking.
