The Daweishan Forest Park is located in northwest Liuyang City, 148 kilometers (91.96 miles) from Changsha. It is famous for its dense forests, picturesque scenery, mild climate and wide variety in plants and animal species. It is reputed to be "a green pearl within eastern Hunan."
