Tapeworm, also known as cestode, has about 4000 different types in the world. It lives in the digestive tract of vertebrates of adults, as well as in the bodies of various animals. The infection can lead to cestodiasis. Main disease symptoms include nausea, vomiting, visceral inflammation, diarrhea, weight loss, dizziness, convulsions and malnutrition.
