Tennis players dominate this year's Forbes list of the highest paid female athletes, grabbing seven spots, with the remaining places occupied by a motor racer, a golfer and a skater.
Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova takes tops spot on the list for the ninth consecutive year, with US$29 million in earnings. Serena Williams ranks second, with earnings of US$20.5 million and China's Li Na drops one place from last year to No. 3, with earnings of US$18.2 million, including US$3.2 million in prize money.
