Beidahu Ski Resort in Jilin 吉林北大壺滑雪場(chǎng)
Located at 53 kilometers from downtown Jilin, Beidahu Ski Resort integrates travel, competition and training. Once serving as the host venue of China's 8th, 9th and 12th National Winter Games, the resort features excellent snow and fabulous scenery. The number of snow days reaches up to 160 annually and the snow can be as deep as 1.5 meters at a height of more than 1,000 meters.
Additionally, the resort boasts picturesque rime scenery. The beautiful Jilin rime is regarded as one of China's four natural wonders - along with the Guilin landscape of mountains and waters in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; the Stone Forest in Yunnan province; and the Three Gorges along the Yangtze River.
