Alshan Skiing Resort in Inner Mongolia 內(nèi)蒙古阿爾山滑雪場(chǎng)
Located in Alshan City, Inner Mongolia, the Alshan Skiing Resort is one of the best ski resorts in China, featuring the widest range of activities. Surrounded by tree-clad mountains, it is a natural oxygen bar, offering great and refreshing air. The slopes cover an area of 6,000 square meters and can accommodate 4000 ski lovers. A training center was constructed based on international competition standards and was one of the training bases for the Chinese Olympic skiing team.
The resort is divided into two parts: The West Hill Ski Terrain for ski racing and training; the East Hill Terrain for just plain fun. The West Hill Terrain is built in accordance with the standards for international ski racing, suitable for competition and training. This part covers around 5.5 square kilometers with great many alpine and cross country trails. The trails are connected to a hot spring area, featuring a perfect combination of icy cold and boiling hot. In addition, you can also find some local activities such as horse racing, wrestling and hunting on the resort's entertainment menu.
