Song Zhiping, president of the China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (Sinopharm), was awarded as one of the "50 most influential business leaders in China" in 2012 by Fortune Magazine. Founded in 1998, Sinopharm is administrated by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and is the largest medical and healthcare group in China.
