Cai Dabiao and Pan Minfeng 真功夫董事長蔡達標+潘敏峰
Estimated settlement: 470 million yuan (US$74.6 million)
The fast food giant, J-Kung Fu, ran in a family style, has staged a fierce war for stock rights. Its president Cai Dabiao and Pan Yuhai, younger brother of his ex-wife Pan Minfeng, co-founded the company in 1994, with a 50 percent stakes retained for the couple and Pan Yuhai, respectively. 41-year-old Cai divorced from Pan Minfeng in 2006 after a marriage lasting for 15 years, with the latter giving up her 25 percent stakes for custody rights of their two sons. However, Pan Minfeng sued Cai in April 2009, demanding that Cai should either return her stakes or give her 470 million yuan (US$74.6 million) in compensation, after Cai was found to have an 11-year-long love affair with a woman who gave birth to a son. It's rumored that Cai's being arrested in April 2011 over economic crimes was closely related to Pan and her brother's report.
