Alexandra Manley, former Princess of Denmark
Alexandra Manley met Prince Joachim during a 1994 dinner party and they fell in love right away. She was the first woman of Asian descent to marry into European royalty. After their wedding, she took an active interest in public welfare , which won her the hearts of the Danes. However, their marriage ended in divorce- the first divorce in the Danish royal family since 1846.
