Since its establishment in 1984, the City University of Hong Kong has been endeavoring to provide quality education to the Hong Kong community and meet the needs of a knowledge-based society. Over the past 30 years, it has gone from being a small institution, housed at a temporary campus, offering nine academic programs to less than 1,000 students, to a major university with an international reputation, enrolling over 20,000 students in programs of all levels from associate degree to postgraduate research.
