Chang Yu-sheng (June 7, 1966-Nov. 12, 1997) is a pop singer, composer and producer from Taiwan. His first signature song was My Future is Not A Dream (1988) and he reached his peak between 1991 and 1994. Dubbed the "Music Magician", Chang is noted for his avant-garde music and powerful voice, as well as the spirit of always pursuing his ideals about music. As a producer, he successfully made the pop singer A-mei and the TV hostess Tao Ching Ying household names.
Chang was severely injured in a car accident arising from fatigue driving and died on November 12, 1997 at the early age of 31.
