His profit per movie increased from 12 million HK dollars (US$1.54 million) to 15 million HK dollars (US$1.93 million), and due to his increasing popularity, Yen is selected by many companies to advertise for their products with a pay over 10 million HK dollars (US$1.28 million) each. His income in the assessment period reached 126 million yuan (US$19.47 million).
