The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is so popular that it beat out the iPhone 3GS in sales. It is the first Sony Ericsson smart phone to run the Android operating system and features an 8.1 mega pixel camera and a 1 GHz Qualcomm "Snapdragon" CPU. The screen supports NTSC DVD wide-screen resolution.
Although it has its drawbacks, like lacking multi-touch support, it still wins the hearts of fans because of its luxury hardware and its complete set of services. Its functions as a camera phone, text messaging, portable media player, with an Internet client that provides email, web browsing and Wi-Fi connectivity make Sony’s phone all the more attractive.
The user interface is built around the device's touch screen and a virtual keyboard rather than a physical one.
