Zhu Pengyu scored a last-minute winner as Dalian Yingbo beat Shanghai Jiading Huilong 2-1 in the last round of China League One for 2024 season, the country's second-tier football league, securing a berth for Chinese Super League.

In front of 6,0951 spectators, the new attendance record for China League One, Brazilian striker Fernando Karanga broke the deadlock for Dalian in the 14th minute, but he missed a penalty later in the 43rd minute.

Brazilian forward Dominic Vinicius equalized for the away side in the 60th minute. 19-year-old forward Zhu became the hero for the home side as his header in the 90th minute secured Dalian's promotion to the top flight next season.

Another League One side Yunnan Yukun had booked a place for the Super League earlier after they won the championship with three rounds remaining.

Wuxi Wugou and Jiangxi Lushan were relegated to China League Two, the country's third-tier football league, while Guangdong GZ-Power and Dalian Kun City will be promoted to League One.
