The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) on Tuesday announced that a delegation of 338 athletes would represent Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, along with 369 support staff and coaches.
14-year-old skateboarder Fay De Fazio Ebert is the youngest Canadian athlete, and dressage rider Jill Irving is the oldest, at 61 years old.
"338 athletes, 338 reasons to celebrate! Your hard work, discipline and determination have prepared you to compete and showcase the very best of Canada to the world," said Carla Qualtrough, Canada's Minister of Sport and Physical Activity.
The 2024 Paris Olympics will feature 329 events across 32 sports. France's capital will become the second city, following London, to host the Olympic Games three times.
