The Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) has announced that it will hold a short training camp for promising players from May 1-10 in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
Among the attendees are up-and-coming talents such as Yang Hanshen and Chen Guohao.
The camp's roster features 12 players who are either newcomers to the CBA league or who have shown potential in recent times. This includes Yang Hanshen, Wang Haoran, Li Xinyi, and Zhao Weilun, all of whom represented China at last year's U19 World Cup. Also participating are college athletes who have entered the CBA through the draft in recent years, such as Chen Guohao, Wang Lanyin, and Zou Yang.
Head coach Aleksandar Djordjevic highlighted the training camp's objectives, noting that it serves to expand the pool of young talent available to the national team. Additionally, the camp will provide these players with an understanding of the national team's technical and tactical approaches. This preparation is crucial, as it allows for a smoother integration into the team in cases of injuries or other unforeseen changes affecting key players.
