Chinese golfer Li Haotong brought Team Asia the lead over Team Europe with a birdie on the last hole on Friday in the first day of Eurasia Cup.
Teaming up with Malaysia's Nicholas Fung, the 22-year-old Li played against Bernd Wiesberger and Rafa Cabrera Bello in the Fourball Format.
Li and Fung took the early lead but Team Europe bounced back in their match before Li holed a 15-feet birdie on the 18th hole to snatch a late draw, helping Team Asia lead on 3.5 points against Team Europe's 2.5 points after Friday.
Team Asia's Sunghoon Kang and Poom Saksansin produced the biggest surprise of the day, defeating Europe's Major winner Henrik Stenson of Sweden and Frenchman Alexander Levy.
Gavin Green of Malaysia and world number 36 Yuta Ikeda of Japan were also victorious against Thomas Pieters and Matthew Fitzpatrick.
Hideto Tanihara of Japan and Phachara Khongwatmai of Thailand also secured victory, beating Alex Noren and Paul Dunne by two holes.
