The United States crushed Angola in the last-16 match on Monday, defeating the African team 121-66.
The undefeated American team will progress to the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Basketball Championships, where it will take on Russia.
The game was never even close, with the U.S. taking an early lead finishing the first quarter 33-13, and maintaining the lead throughout.
Angola wasn't able to narrow the gap by half-time, which ended 65-38.
America continued its offensive streak in the second half, scoring 26 and 30 points in each quarter, to end the game with a 55-point lead and sweep Angola out of the championship.
Joaquim Gomez was the top scorer of the game, earning Angola 21 points, 9 of which were from free-throws.
Chauncey Billups was the top scorer for America, with 19 points including 5 three-pointers. America was also well-supported by Kevin Durant, Rudy Gay and Eric Gordon, all of whom scored 17 points each.
