The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai expanded its showcase of African products this year, offering a platform for specialty foods and agricultural commodities from across the continent.
Through vibrant displays and interactive presentations, exhibitors from countries like Rwanda, Benin and Ethiopia introduced Chinese visitors to products such as sesame seeds, dried pineapple and shea butter, aiming to strengthen trade channels for African goods in the Chinese market.
In addition to product demonstrations and partnership discussions, cultural performances showcased the unique heritage of the participating nations, reflecting achievements from the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in building stronger economic and cultural bonds.
