After more than a year of renovations, the Museum of Chinese Medicine located in the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Chaoyang district, Beijing, has recently opened to the public. Covering an area of about 1,500 square meters, the museum houses over 1,000 medical antiquities and 200 rare medical books, and showcases nearly 6,000 traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) specimens. The museum has one of the best TCM collections in the country in terms of both variety and quantity, and attracts high visitor numbers even on work days.
