Located in Beijing's Mentougou District, Asia's largest garbage incinerator is set to undergo trial operations this October, the Beijing Morning Post reported.

When fully operational, the Lujiashan incinerator will burn 3,000 tons of garbage daily and generate 420 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, the equivalent of 140,000 tons of coal and twice as much as the Gaoantun incinerator in Chaoyang district.

據(jù)《北京晨報(bào)》報(bào)道，位于北京門頭溝區(qū)的魯家山垃圾焚燒廠將于十月份試運(yùn)行。

一旦投入生產(chǎn)，這個(gè)亞洲最大的垃圾焚燒廠每天將處理3000噸垃圾，是朝陽(yáng)區(qū)高安屯垃圾焚燒廠處理能力的兩倍。其年發(fā)電量將達(dá)4.2億度，相當(dāng)于14萬(wàn)噸標(biāo)煤的發(fā)電量。
