Jeremy Lin fever -- "Linsanity" -- has spread to the White House, USA Today reported.

President Obama, a huge basketball fan, is avidly following the exploits of Lin, the out-of-nowhere point guard who has now led the New York Knicks to seven straight wins.

However, it is questionable how far President Obama's support for Lin will stretch: Lin's Knicks play in the same conference as the president's beloved Chicago Bulls, and could meet in the playoffs this spring.
