A survey by Jiayuan.com, an online dating service platform, showed that about 69 percent of Chinese men have or had confidantes, Western China Metropolis Daily reported.

Men from Sichuan Province are the luckiest, with 74 percent of them admitting the existence of close female friends.

Over 60 percent of Chinese women have or had intimate male friends.
