As the Christmas countdown nearing single digits, Santa Claus has arrived in advance on his private locomotive. Last Sunday, German children in the Bavarian capital of Munich went for a special train ride.
It was Santa Claus who invited them for the trip and handed out gifts to celebrate the Christmas spirit. Pulled by a vintage steam locomotive built in 1939, the Christmas train went on a one-hour tour of Munich.
While the children's fathers seemed more interested in the locomotive itself, the kids cared most about what Santa had in his bag. Tradition has it that Santa visits German children on December 6th.
Only the children that have been good all year receive a small gift. Naturally, the children on this train were angels all year.
