| Three HIV-infected patients wrote a joint letter to the Legislative Affairs Office of State Council Monday morning, saying that "General Civil Servants Employment Physical Examination Standards," "Civil Servants Special Physical Examination Standards," "Contagious Disease Prevention Law" and other regulations all include HIV-discrimination provisions, the Beijing News reported. The letter petitions for the scrutiny and removal of those provisions. |
據(jù)《新京報(bào)》報(bào)道，三位艾滋感染者周一上午聯(lián)名致信國(guó)務(wù)院法制辦，稱(chēng)《公務(wù)員錄用體檢通用標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》、《公務(wù)員特殊體檢標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》、《傳染病防治法實(shí)施辦法》等系列規(guī)章存在恐艾歧視，請(qǐng)求進(jìn)行審查，予以撤銷(xiāo)或宣布廢止。 |

However, the petitioners suggested in the letter that, under existing regulations and regulatory documents, HIV infection patients can not be civil servants, teachers or policemen, and that the regulations enforce isolation treatment, which is "a serious violation of medical common sense."

但建議信認(rèn)為，根據(jù)現(xiàn)行規(guī)章及規(guī)范性文件，艾滋感染者不能當(dāng)公務(wù)員，不能當(dāng)教師，不能當(dāng)警察；并要求艾滋感染者進(jìn)行隔離治療，這“嚴(yán)重違反了醫(yī)學(xué)常識(shí)”。 | |
