Danish restaurant Noma in Copenhagen was crowned the world's best restaurant for the second year in a row in an annual list, Reuters reported.
The S. Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants, produced by Britain's Restaurant magazine, were unveiled in London after voting by a panel of more than 800 chefs, restaurateurs, journalists and food experts.
Noma, located in a converted dockside shipping warehouse, has built an international reputation with its "neo-Nordic" cuisine, which uses indigenous ingredients such as snails, musk ox, sea buckthorn and wild herbs. Dishes on the current menu include picked vegetables and bone marrow and oysters.
Spanish restaurants El Celler de Can Roca, in Girona, and Mugaritz, in the Basque region near the French border, took second and third places. Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy came fourth. (點(diǎn)擊路透社網(wǎng)站查看原文)
