A 23-year-old migrant male worker jumped to his death Friday at a Foxconn manufacturing site in Shenzhen, the 14th case in a string of suicides this year and the first reported death at the company since August when 100,000 employees staged a Treasure Your Life rally, Xinhua reports. Foxconn said that the cause of suicide has not been determined and that it is fully cooperating with the police investigation. Neither Shenzhen's municipal government nor local police had any immediate comment or further details. |
