據(jù)新華社報(bào)道，跳水皇后郭晶晶終于做出“謝幕”決定。中國跳水隊(duì)領(lǐng)隊(duì)周繼紅周日確認(rèn)，郭晶晶已經(jīng)遞交退役申請。郭晶晶的退役，也宣告了一個跳水女皇時代的終結(jié)。她創(chuàng)造了幾乎無法超越的世界記錄：四枚奧運(yùn)金牌，并實(shí)現(xiàn)了世錦賽3米板單、雙人的五連冠。

Diving queen Guo to retire

Chinese diving queen Guo Jingjing is retiring, Xinhua reports. National diving team leader Zhou Jihong confirmed Sunday that Guo had submitted her application for retirement. Guo's retirement marked the end of an era during which she set an almost unbeatable record of four Olympic gold medals and five consecutive victories in both the individual and synchronized 3-meter springboard at the world championships.
