Jet Li, Chinese Kong Fu star and founder of One Foundation, becomes the latest contributor to the "Call for Action" videos on the YouTube COP15 Channel.

The YouTube COP15 Channel "raise your voice" was jointly launched on September 22, by the Government of Denmark – host of the UN climate Change Conference 2009 (COP15) and the global internet company Google, during the UN Climate Summit in New York. The aim is to increase global engagement in climate change in the run-up to and during COP15 in Copenhagen in December.

At the invitation of the Danish Embassy in Beijing, Jet Li joined the "Call for Action" on climate change on the YouTube COP15 Channel by producing a video both in English and Chinese. The video is also available on YouKu.com.

"In the past 100 years, we have overexploited our earth, leading to global warming and it's resulting natural disasters. These changes have cost us countless lives…As we work hard to create wealth, we must also protect our earth, to pass on a beautiful, healthy earth to the next generation. I hope for your participation. Not only must governments do their part, enterprises and organizations must also do their part. It's my belief that we're all in this together as humankind. All we need is for each of us to give our best, billions of people nurturing our planet together, nurturing our home," said Jet Li in the video.

You have the chance to use the online video sharing website YouTube to share your thoughts on climate change and to make your voice be heard at the conference.

Through the channel, users can contribute their own opinion and questions, and respond to and view videos by climate change opinion makers. The channel will also allow users to watch videos that go behind the scenes of the conference itself. During COP15, videos will be shown to the leaders of the world gathered at the conference, who will have a chance to record their opinions directly from the conference venue.

On the YouTube channel there are also "Call for Action" videos from HRH the Crown Prince of Denmark, the Prime Minister of Denmark Lars L?kke Rasmussen, the Danish Minister for Climate and Energy Connie Hedegaard.
