World Celebrations for the End of WWII
Veterans Commemorate Wartime Friendship
Over 80 Chinese and former Soviet veterans reunited Wednesday in Beijing to commemorate their fighting together against Japanese invasive troops over 60 years ago. Statistic showed that a total of 3,665 soldiers of the former Soviet Union had been dispatched to join the war in China from 1937 to 1941, including 1,091 pilots. More than 200 of them died in China.
