Vice chairwoman of National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), vice chairwoman of RCCK National Committee, chairwoman of RCCK Beijing Municipal Committee, vice chairwoman of All-China Women's Federation in 1996-1998; vice chairwoman of NPC Standing Committee, chairwoman of RCCK National Committee and president of Central Socialism Academy since 1998.
