Special Committees Under the CPPCC National Committee

The CPPCC National Committee sets up special committees and other departments in response to its needs and upon the decision of the Standing Committee. These special committees work under the leadership of the Standing Committee and the Council of the Chairperson. They play a basic role in the CPPCC as they connect the CPPCC members like a bond and facilitate their performance of duties.

The current 14th CPPCC National Committee has 10 special committees:

? Committee on Proposals;

? Committee on Economic Affairs;

? Committee on Agriculture and Rural Areas;

? Committee on Population, Resources, and Environment;

? Committee on Education, Science, Health, and Sports;

? Committee on Social and Legal Affairs;

? Committee on Ethnic and Religious Affairs;

? Committee on Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese;

? Committee on Foreign Affairs;

? Committee on Culture, Historical Data, and Studies.

中國人民政治協(xié)商會(huì)議全國委員會(huì)根據(jù)工作需要，設(shè)立若干專門委員會(huì)及其他工作機(jī)構(gòu)，由常務(wù)委員會(huì)決定。專門委員會(huì)是常務(wù)委員會(huì)和主席會(huì)議領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下的工作機(jī)構(gòu)，是政協(xié)聯(lián)系委員的重要紐帶，是政協(xié)履行職能的重要載體，在政協(xié)工作中發(fā)揮基礎(chǔ)性作用。

政協(xié)十四屆全國委員會(huì)設(shè)置提案委員會(huì)、經(jīng)濟(jì)委員會(huì)、農(nóng)業(yè)和農(nóng)村委員會(huì)、人口資源環(huán)境委員會(huì)、教科衛(wèi)體委員會(huì)、社會(huì)和法制委員會(huì)、民族和宗教委員會(huì)、港澳臺(tái)僑委員會(huì)、外事委員會(huì)、文化文史和學(xué)習(xí)委員會(huì)等10個(gè)專門委員會(huì)。
