Chinese Hehe Culture Promotion Project
Since the 1980s, the world has been focusing on the theme of peace and development. However, "clashes of civilizations" and "ecological crises" have also become major problems that humanity must solve. In particular, Huntington's theory of Clash of Civilizations believed that a clash of civilizations would be inevitable and would preoccupy future societies. Such a point of view aroused strong reactions in the international academic circles. The Chinese scholars analyzed and discussed Huntington's theory from the perspective of Chinese culture. They proposed an important view of handling such clashes with harmonious integration and coexistence of civilizations. It was against this backdrop that the Chinese Hehe Culture Promotion Project came into being.
Officially launched in 1996, the project is to study, elucidate and carry forward the Hehe spirit in traditional Chinese culture, so as to advance cultural and ethical progress in China, enhance the unity and cohesion of the Chinese nation, contribute to the realization of national reunification, and promote international peace. The project is not only a major academic and theoretical project focusing on in-depth exploration and research of Chinese Hehe Culture, but also a project promoting the excellent Chinese Hehe Culture through various media and art forms.
Thanks to this project, since the late 1990s, Hehe Culture has caught greater attention and witnessed the emergence of valuable research results and literary and artistic works. The intellectual value and historical significance of Hehe Culture have thus been further improved, and contributed to the formation of the consensus of replacing estrangement with exchange, clashes with mutual learning, and superiority with coexistence.
中華和合文化弘揚(yáng)工程
20世紀(jì)80、90年代以來(lái),“和平與發(fā)展”作為時(shí)代主題已成為人們的共識(shí),但“文明沖突”“生態(tài)危機(jī)”等也成為人類(lèi)必須解決的重大問(wèn)題。尤其是亨廷頓的“文明沖突論”,認(rèn)為文明的沖突是必然的,并將主導(dǎo)未來(lái)社會(huì),這在國(guó)際學(xué)界引起了強(qiáng)烈反響。中國(guó)學(xué)者從中華文化的角度對(duì)亨廷頓的“文明沖突論”進(jìn)行了深入分析和探討,提出了重要觀點(diǎn),即主張以文明的和諧共融、共處來(lái)應(yīng)對(duì)所謂“文明沖突論”。中華和合文化弘揚(yáng)工程就是在這個(gè)背景下誕生的。
1996年,中華和合文化弘揚(yáng)工程正式啟動(dòng)。該項(xiàng)工程的宗旨是研究、闡發(fā)和弘揚(yáng)中華傳統(tǒng)文化中的“和合精神”,以促進(jìn)中國(guó)的精神文明建設(shè),增強(qiáng)中華民族的向心力和凝聚力,推動(dòng)祖國(guó)統(tǒng)一大業(yè)和國(guó)際和平事業(yè)。中華和合文化弘揚(yáng)工程既是一項(xiàng)重大的學(xué)術(shù)理論工程,重在對(duì)中華和合文化作出深層次的挖掘研究,也是一項(xiàng)優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化的宣傳弘揚(yáng)工程,通過(guò)各種傳媒形式和藝術(shù)形式對(duì)和合精神予以展現(xiàn)。20世紀(jì)90年代末以來(lái),在中華和合文化弘揚(yáng)工程的推動(dòng)下,和合文化受到越來(lái)越多的關(guān)注,研究成果和文藝作品不斷涌現(xiàn),進(jìn)一步提升了和合文化的思想價(jià)值和時(shí)代意義,深化形成了“以文明交流超越文明隔閡、文明互鑒超越文明沖突、文明共存超越文明優(yōu)越”的廣泛共識(shí)。
