Hanshan Temple and Hanshan Temple Culture Forum
The Hanshan Temple in Suzhou of Jiangsu Province was built during the reign of Emperor Wu (464-549, r. 502-549) of the Liang Dynasty (502-557), and it was originally named "Miaoli Puming Temple." Allegedly, it was renamed "Hanshan Temple" during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong (685-762, r. 712-756) of the Tang Dynasty, and "Fengqiao Temple" in the Song Dynasty, and reverted to "Hanshan Temple" during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). The temple is an important landmark for carrying forward Hehe Culture. It has stone-carved picture of Han Shan and Shi De, and other relics of the Two Immortals, as well as such inscriptions as A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge and Foreword to Han Shan's Poems by Emperor Yongzheng.
There are 10 central research directions of Hanshan Temple culture, including the cultures of Zen, Hehe, historical stories, bell music, poetry, art, openness, education, charity, and the environment. In 2007, the First Hanshan Temple Culture Forum was held at the Hanshan Temple, with the aim of promoting Hehe Culture. Thereafter, Hanshan Temple has held the forum and published The Hanshan Temple Culture Forum Proceedings on a yearly basis, thereby making significant contributions to the spread and promotion of Hehe Culture.
On August 29, 2015, the IAU Committee on Small Body Nomenclature announced that the asteroid No. 200002 would be named Hehe Star. This demonstrates the international community's recognition of Chinese Hehe culture, and signifies humanity's aspirations for peace, harmony and happiness.
寒山寺與寒山寺文化論壇
寒山寺始建于南朝梁天監(jiān)年間,舊名“妙利普明塔院”,據(jù)傳,至唐玄宗時改名為寒山寺,宋代也曾改名楓橋寺,元代復稱寒山寺。寺內(nèi)現(xiàn)有寒山拾得像、寒拾遺蹤,以及《楓橋夜泊》《雍正寒山詩序》等碑文,是傳播弘揚和合文化的重要地標。
寒山寺文化研究包含禪宗文化、和合文化、歷史文化、鐘聲文化、詩韻文化、藝術(shù)文化、開放文化、教育文化、慈善文化、環(huán)境文化等十個方面。2007年,以和合文化為主題的首屆寒山寺文化論壇在蘇州寒山寺舉辦。此后,寒山寺每年舉辦一次文化論壇,并推出《寒山寺文化論壇論文集》,為傳播弘揚和合文化作出積極貢獻。
2015年8月29日,國際小行星命名委員會將編號為(200002)號小行星命名為“和合星”,體現(xiàn)了國際社會對中華和合文化的充分肯定,表達了人類追求和平和睦、和諧幸福的強烈愿望。
