China International Import Expo

China International Import Expo (CIIE) is hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the government of Shanghai city. It hosts country exhibitors and business exhibitors, as well as the Hongqiao International Economic Forum. As the world's first import expo held at national level, it is designed to support trade liberalization and economic globalization and open China's market wider to the rest of the world.

Xi Jinping announced, at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in May 2017, that China would host the CIIE starting from 2018. The first CIIE was held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2018. It involved 172 countries, regions and international organizations, and more than 3,600 enterprises attended the event. The expo attracted more than 400,000 domestic and overseas customers. Deals worth a total of US$57.8 billion were agreed.

Around the same time in 2019, the second CIIE was staged in Shanghai. The third CIIE was hosted from November 5 to 10, 2020 as scheduled, with appropriate epidemic control measures against Covid-19 in place.

This grand import fair demonstrates China's resolve to pursue a new round of high-level opening up. It was a concrete action to promote an open world economy and support free trade and economic globalization.

After three years, the CIIE has become an important platform for international purchasing, investment promotion, cultural exchanges and business cooperation. It turns exhibits into trade goods and participants into investors, promotes exchanges, and connects China and the rest of the world. It has grown into a public product to be shared by the whole world.

中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)

中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)，由中華人民共和國(guó)商務(wù)部、上海市人民政府主辦，包括展會(huì)和論壇兩個(gè)部分。展會(huì)即國(guó)家貿(mào)易投資綜合展（簡(jiǎn)稱國(guó)家展）和企業(yè)商業(yè)展（簡(jiǎn)稱企業(yè)展），論壇即虹橋國(guó)際經(jīng)貿(mào)論壇。中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)是世界上第一個(gè)以進(jìn)口為主題的國(guó)家級(jí)展會(huì)，旨在堅(jiān)定支持貿(mào)易自由化和經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化、主動(dòng)向世界開(kāi)放市場(chǎng)。

2017年5月，習(xí)近平在“一帶一路”國(guó)際合作高峰論壇上宣布，中國(guó)將從2018年起舉辦中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)。2018年11月5日至10日，首屆中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)在上海成功舉辦，共吸引172個(gè)國(guó)家、地區(qū)和國(guó)際組織參會(huì)，3600多家企業(yè)參展，超過(guò)40萬(wàn)名境內(nèi)外采購(gòu)商到會(huì)洽談采購(gòu)，累計(jì)意向成交578.3億美元；2019年11月5日至10日，第二屆中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)在上海成功舉辦；2020年11月5日至10日，中國(guó)在確保防疫安全前提下如期舉辦第三屆中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)。

舉辦中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)是中國(guó)推動(dòng)新一輪高水平對(duì)外開(kāi)放的鄭重宣誓，也是中國(guó)推動(dòng)建設(shè)開(kāi)放型世界經(jīng)濟(jì)、支持貿(mào)易自由化和經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的實(shí)際行動(dòng)。經(jīng)過(guò)3年發(fā)展，中國(guó)國(guó)際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì)讓展品變商品、讓展商變投資商，交流創(chuàng)意和理念，聯(lián)通中國(guó)和世界，成為國(guó)際采購(gòu)、投資促進(jìn)、人文交流、開(kāi)放合作的重要平臺(tái)，成為全球共享的國(guó)際公共產(chǎn)品。
