International Military Cooperation

Military cooperation and exchanges are authorized by China's National Defense Law. China's military cooperation with other countries is intended to further our respective and shared strategic interests through joint operations, exchanges and collaboration. It is an important element of foreign engagements of the Party and the state, and an important area of defense and military development. Areas of cooperation include:

security dialog and consultation;

joint international military operations including counter-terrorism operations;

joint military exercises and training;

military equipment and technology cooperation;

personnel exchanges;

international arms control; and

providing international public security goods, including UN peacekeeping operations, naval escort missions, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) operations.

China's military is committed to a common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable security concept. Its extensive international military cooperation is intended to build foreign military relations featuring non-alliance and non-confrontation that target no third party. It aims to create fair and effective collective security and mutual trust mechanisms. Expanding military and security cooperation helps create a safe and secure environment conducive to national peaceful development and contributes to world peace and regional stability.

China's military will continue to explore new areas and new formats of collaboration with other militaries, make more friends, and strengthen cooperation at all levels.

國際軍事合作

開展軍事交流與合作是中國《國防法》的明確規(guī)定。國際軍事合作是指中國與外國為了謀求各自或共同的戰(zhàn)略利益，在軍事領(lǐng)域開展的聯(lián)合行動(dòng)與相互交流、協(xié)作配合。國際軍事合作是黨和國家對(duì)外工作的重要組成部分，是國防和軍隊(duì)建設(shè)的重要領(lǐng)域。國際軍事合作的主要方式包括：防務(wù)安全對(duì)話磋商，國際反恐等聯(lián)合軍事行動(dòng)，聯(lián)合軍事演習(xí)訓(xùn)練，軍事裝備技術(shù)合作，人員交流互訪，國際軍備控制，提供維和、護(hù)航、人道主義援助救災(zāi)等國際公共安全產(chǎn)品，等等。中國軍隊(duì)堅(jiān)持共同、綜合、合作、可持續(xù)的安全觀，通過廣泛的國際軍事合作發(fā)展不結(jié)盟、不對(duì)抗、不針對(duì)第三方的軍事關(guān)系，推動(dòng)建立公平有效的集體安全機(jī)制和軍事互信機(jī)制，積極拓展軍事安全合作空間，營造有利于國家和平發(fā)展的安全環(huán)境，維護(hù)世界和平與地區(qū)穩(wěn)定。中國軍隊(duì)不斷探索與世界各國軍隊(duì)合作的新領(lǐng)域、新內(nèi)容、新模式，“朋友圈”越來越大，構(gòu)建起全方位、寬領(lǐng)域、多層次的國際軍事合作新格局。
