Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace

The internet has turned the world into a global village and made the international community a highly interdependent community with a shared future. Xi Jinping has talked about his vision for a community with a shared future in cyberspace to all the World Internet Conferences held in China. He said that since cyberspace as a sphere of human activity belongs to humanity, its future should be decided by all countries of the world. To this end, he has proposed four principles for building a cyberspace community with a shared future: respecting cyber sovereignty, safeguarding security and peace, promoting openness and cooperation, and building a sound cyberspace order. He has also highlighted the need to (a) accelerate the development of a global internet infrastructure and promote interconnectivity; (b) create online platforms to facilitate cultural exchanges; (c) promote the development of the internet economy and encourage innovation; (d) ensure the internet security and orderly development; and (e) build a cyberspace governance system to ensure fairness and justice.

Building a community with a shared future in cyberspace needs the joint efforts made by the international community.

互聯(lián)網(wǎng)真正讓世界變成了地球村，讓國(guó)際社會(huì)越來(lái)越成為你中有我、我中有你的命運(yùn)共同體。習(xí)近平總書(shū)記在歷屆世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)上，均闡釋了“網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間命運(yùn)共同體”的理念和主張。他強(qiáng)調(diào)，網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間是人類(lèi)共同的活動(dòng)空間，網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間前途命運(yùn)應(yīng)由世界各國(guó)共同掌握。他提出了共建網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間命運(yùn)共同體的四項(xiàng)原則和五點(diǎn)主張。四項(xiàng)原則是：尊重網(wǎng)絡(luò)主權(quán)，維護(hù)安全和平，促進(jìn)開(kāi)放合作，構(gòu)建良好秩序。五點(diǎn)主張是：第一，加快全球網(wǎng)絡(luò)基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施建設(shè)，促進(jìn)互聯(lián)互通；第二，打造網(wǎng)上文化交流共享平臺(tái)，促進(jìn)交流互鑒； 第三，推動(dòng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)經(jīng)濟(jì)創(chuàng)新發(fā)展，促進(jìn)共同繁榮；第四，保障網(wǎng)絡(luò)安全，促進(jìn)有序發(fā)展；第五，構(gòu)建互聯(lián)網(wǎng)治理體系，促進(jìn)公平正義。共建網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間命運(yùn)共同體，需要 國(guó)際社會(huì)共同努力才能實(shí)現(xiàn)。
