The Five-Sphere Integrated Plan

The Five-sphere Integrated Plan – the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics encompassing economic, political, cultural, social and ecological development – was proposed on November 8, 2012 at the 18th National Congress of the CPC. While economic development continues to be the central pillar, economic, political, cultural, social and ecological development are to be promoted on all fronts, modernization is to be fostered in all areas, and all elements are to be developed in a coordinated manner.

The Five-sphere Integrated Plan and the Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy support each other and interact in a planned manner. Proceeding from economic growth, they help develop a socialist market economy, democratic governance, advanced culture, ecological progress, and a harmonious society. Together, they help make the people more prosperous, the country stronger, and China more beautiful. 

“五位一體”總體布局

2012年11月8日，中共十八大提出經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)、政治建設(shè)、文化建設(shè)、社會(huì)建設(shè)、生態(tài)文明建設(shè)“五位一體”的建設(shè)中國特色社會(huì)主義總體布局。即在堅(jiān)持以經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)為中心的同時(shí)，全面推進(jìn)經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)、政治建設(shè)、文化建設(shè)、社會(huì)建設(shè)、生態(tài)文明建設(shè)，促進(jìn)現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)、各個(gè)方面協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展?！拔逦灰惑w”總體布局和“四個(gè)全面”戰(zhàn)略布局相互促進(jìn)、彼此聯(lián)動(dòng)，旨在以推動(dòng)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展為基礎(chǔ)，統(tǒng)籌建設(shè)社會(huì)主義市場經(jīng)濟(jì)、民主政治、先進(jìn)文化、生態(tài)文明、和諧社會(huì)，協(xié)同推進(jìn)人民富裕、國家強(qiáng)盛、中國美麗。“五位一體”總體布局的提出，體現(xiàn)了中國共產(chǎn)黨對協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展的規(guī)律性認(rèn)識(shí)不斷深化，對中國特色社會(huì)主義的規(guī)律性認(rèn)識(shí)不斷深化。
