Major Country Diplomacy with Chinese Characteristics
The CPC is committed to improving the wellbeing of the Chinese people, and to advancing human progress. It has always been our mission to contribute to humanity’s progress. To this end, a proactive foreign policy that reflects China’s position as a major country with Chinese characteristics is critical, as Xi Jinping stated at the Central Committee’s Foreign Policy Meeting in November 2014.
The report to the 19th CPC National Congress underlined the importance of such a policy and its role in building a new form of international relations and a community with a shared future for humanity.
China will remain committed to peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit, have friendly cooperation with other countries based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, and work to build a new form of international relations featuring mutual respect, fairness, justice, and cooperation for mutual benefit.
China calls on people all over the world to work together to build a community with a shared future for humanity, an open, inclusive, clean, and beautiful world that enjoys lasting peace, universal security, and shared prosperity.
China will never falter in its pursuit of an independent foreign policy of peace. China respects the right of the people of all countries to choose their own development path, and endeavors to uphold international fairness and justice. It will continue to forge global partnerships, expand the convergence of interests with other countries, increase its external exchanges and cooperation in various fields, follow an open-door policy in its development efforts and work for building an open world economy. Guided by a vision for participatory global governance, it will actively participate in and contribute to global governance reform.
中國(guó)特色大國(guó)外交
中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨是為中國(guó)人民謀幸福的政黨，也是為人類(lèi)進(jìn)步事業(yè)而奮斗的政黨。中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨始終把為人類(lèi)作出新的更大的貢獻(xiàn)作為自己的使命。2014年11月，習(xí)近平在中央外事工作會(huì)議上指出，中國(guó)必須有自己的特色大國(guó)外交。中共十九大報(bào)告強(qiáng)調(diào)，中國(guó)特色大國(guó)外交要推動(dòng)構(gòu)建新型國(guó)際關(guān)系，推動(dòng)構(gòu)建人類(lèi)命運(yùn)共同體。為此，中國(guó)將高舉和平、發(fā)展、合作、共贏的旗幟，在和平共處五項(xiàng)原則基礎(chǔ)上發(fā)展同各國(guó)的友好合作，推動(dòng)建設(shè)互相尊重、公平正義、合作共贏的新型國(guó)際關(guān)系；呼吁各國(guó)人民同心協(xié)力，構(gòu)建人類(lèi)命運(yùn)共同體，建設(shè)持久和平、普遍安全、共同繁榮、開(kāi)放包容、清潔美麗的世界；堅(jiān)定奉行獨(dú)立自主的和平外交政策，尊重各國(guó)人民自主選擇發(fā)展道路的權(quán)利，維護(hù)國(guó)際公平正義；積極發(fā)展全球伙伴關(guān)系，擴(kuò)大同各國(guó)的利益交匯點(diǎn)，加強(qiáng)各方面各領(lǐng)域的對(duì)外交流與合作；堅(jiān)持對(duì)外開(kāi)放的基本國(guó)策，堅(jiān)持打開(kāi)國(guó)門(mén)搞建設(shè)，推動(dòng)建設(shè)開(kāi)放型世界經(jīng)濟(jì)；秉持共商共建共享的全球治理觀，積極參與全球治理體系改革和建設(shè)，不斷貢獻(xiàn)中國(guó)智慧和力量。
