On Saturday, Luohu celebrated its 2024 Entrepreneur Day and the start of Supporting Enterprises Month, launching a suite of services to enhance business development. The event, held at Silver Lake International Conference Center, honored top-performing local companies and unveiled a 163-item business support checklist, integrating resources from 40 departments and six financial institutions.
The event showcased Luohu’s innovative approaches. Business leaders enjoyed a low-altitude helicopter tour to see Luohu's urban development from a new perspective, reflecting the district's proactive commitment to growth and modernization. The event also featured a "Mingle Area" to encourage informal, lively exchanges between business owners and government officials, creating an open environment for idea-sharing.
The district’s ambitious vision focuses on fostering emerging sectors like artificial intelligence, life sciences, and sustainable technologies, while enhancing traditional industries. The Europe-China Innovation Medical and Health Research Center, a partnership with the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, exemplifies Luohu's dedication to advanced research, hosting over 100 companies in areas like cancer immunotherapy and cell therapy.
To support enterprises, Luohu has rolled out multiple initiatives, including ten financial policies and a specialized infrastructure plan for low-altitude industry growth, among others. The district also recently established a 422-billion-yuan industrial investment fund to boost innovation.
Luohu has developed specific services for business needs, such as a one-stop going global service center and customized financing programs with banks, which further streamline access to resources. Additionally, Luohu’s service framework includes 24-hour digital platforms and virtual industrial parks, enhancing connectivity with the Greater Bay Area’s vast markets.
During the event’s open dialogue, entrepreneurs expressed confidence in Luohu's supportive ecosystem. "The response from the district has been immediate and effective," said Ding Qiangqiang, General Manager of Shenzhen MoFang Satellite Technology. Representatives of other companies echoed similar sentiments, recognizing Luohu’s efforts in enabling high-speed project launches and sustained support.
Looking ahead, Luohu aims to integrate high-quality services with business development, ensuring efficient policy support, timely responses, and new opportunities for enterprises. Through its multifaceted support structure, the district is set to become a leading hub for innovative and sustainable business growth in the Greater Bay Area.
