On Wednesday, Shenzhen’s National Cartoon & Animation Industry Base launched a revitalization project in Luohu District. Established in 2005, it is Shenzhen’s only industry base with national, provincial, and municipal recognition. The upgrade will redesign 26,500 square meters of space to focus on digital production, application, and experience, creating a public platform for cultural creativity, digital technology, and advertising.

The site will feature advanced virtual shooting studios for film and advertising, as well as lifestyle retail, drawing brands like Superhui Culture and Kehong Technology. This project is led by the Shenzhen Radio and Television Group and Shanghai’s Dobe Cultural & Creative Industry Development Co., Ltd. to establish a Greater Bay Area hub for digital creativity.
