On Thursday, the 16th China Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Luohu Qualifier and the 8th Luohu District Big Wutong Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards Ceremony took place at Shenrun Tower. The competition, which drew a record 587 projects across core and biotech-focused tracks, marked a 30% increase from previous years. Over half of Luohu’s winning projects focused on AI software. Several projects advanced to the city and national levels, including groundbreaking innovations like a magnetic navigation electrophysiological surgical robot and the Chongqing Diamond Wafer project, which both won first-place city awards.
The event also saw substantial participation from Hong Kong, with over 70 projects and a Finance Express–Hong Kong Enterprise Matchmaking Session that facilitated collaboration between Luohu and Hong Kong.
Supporting these initiatives, the competition offered the framework of innovation, entrepreneurship, venture capital, and competition, as well as service systems covering investment, industry, corporate services, space support, and overseas expansion.
