A large multipurpose pulp-transportation ship named Green Munguba, with a deadweight tonnage of 77,000 tonnes, has been delivered to its customer in the city of Dalian, northeast China's Liaoning Province.
Measuring 225 meters long, 32.26 meters wide and 21 meters deep, the vessel can travel at a speed of 15 knots, according to Dalian COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.
It will be deployed on the shipping route connecting China and South America, and its cargo hold has good sealing and dryness, ensuring the quality and safety of pulp transportation, said the shipbuilder.
Additionally, the vessel's cargo hold is highly adaptable, allowing it to transport not only pulp but also various other types of cargo, such as high-speed trains, wind-power equipment and large machinery.
The Green Munguba is also equipped with a temperature monitoring and warning system specifically for new-energy vehicles (NEVs), ensuring the safe transport of these vehicles and supporting trade in NEVs between China and South America.
