The ninth national young writers' production conference concluded on Tuesday in Beijing, having highlighted the need to promote the high-quality development of the country's literature sector in the new era.
During the two-day event, attendees expressed their commitment to contributing to China's cultural development and the cause of promoting national rejuvenation through Chinese modernization.
They agreed on the importance of new literature remaining rooted in the people, and pledged to produce more outstanding works that meet the people's spiritual and cultural needs while also strengthening their spiritual strength.

The first national young writers' production conference was held in 1956, and the event has since served as an important platform for the cultivation of literary talent and the promotion of the prosperity and development of literature. The eighth conference was held in 2018.
