6. Dragon dance
In the daytime of the festival, families can enjoy large performances such as dragon dances and lion dances. For over 2,000 years, the dragon has stood as a symbol of deity in ancient China, therefore, people perform the dragon dance to pray to the gods for rain. Nowadays, the dragon dance is only performed for fun.
