Tunisia is currently taking part in the second Arab Arts festival in China held on the sidelines of the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.
The event which runs both in Beijing and Shanghai from June 18 to 25 will feature performances by Arab artists, a fashion exhibition and a cultural forum.
Abderraouf El Basti, Tunisia's minister of culture and heritage preservation, is leading the Tunisian delegation to the event, who will also deliver an address on the Tunisian approach in the dialogue of cultures and civilizations.
Tunisia will also take part in the Arab plastic arts exhibition due to be held on June 21 at the Beijing Museum.
The exhibition will showcase paintings by well-known Tunisian artists such as Ali Bellagha, Nja Mahdaoui, Habib Bouabana, Asma Mnaouar, Nadia Zouari, Lamine Sassi and Mohamed Ben Slama.
Moreover, Tunisian fashion designer Fatma Ben Abdallah will organize a fashion show of Tunisian traditional costumes inspired from Tunisia's heritage.
