Zeng Fanzhi, a well-known Chinese painter, opened on Friday his two-month exhibition in Bulgaria.
World celebrities such as super model Elle MacPherson, fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and the Marilyn Monroe's photographer Larry Schiller attended the opening ceremony in the National Gallery for Foreign Art.
In 2008 one of Zeng's portraits was auctioned for 9.7 million U. S. dollars -- a record for the contemporary Asian art.
Zeng, 46, was born in Wuhan, Hubei province. In 1991 he graduated the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts.
